Mercedes-Benz: In a major change in its strategy in India, luxury car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has removed the A-Class sedan, EQA, EQB and EQE SUV from the lineup. This is not just a decision to discontinue the models, but a clear glimpse of the brand’s new Premium Focus. Now the company is moving away from entry-level towards more luxury and high-tech segment.

4 main trains stopped
A-Class Limousine: This was the cheapest car (entry-level sedan) of Mercedes in India, which has now been discontinued.
EQA (Electric): This was the company’s most affordable electric car.
EQB (Electric): It was a three-row electric SUV.
EQE SUV (Electric): This was a premium electric SUV launched in 2023, which has now been removed from the Indian website.

This decision of Mercedes-Benz is not just an indication of removing some models, but changing the entire strategy.
