Mercedes-Benz sells 19,007 cars in ’25, BEVs grow 12%: Best-sellers, details
Electric vehicles also gained momentum. Mercedes-Benz’s BEV portfolio grew by 12 percent year-on-year and now makes up 20 percent of all top-end Mercedes-Benz vehicles sold in India. Notably, 70 percent of BEVs sold in 2025 were priced between Rs 1.25 crore and Rs 3.10 crore.
Best-selling models
The EQS SUV emerged as the brand’s highest-selling luxury EV in India, while demand remained strong for the EQS sedan, Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV and the G580.
In the sedan space, Mercedes-Benz continued to see healthy demand across its range. The long wheelbase E-Class retained its position as India’s highest-selling luxury car, while the C-Class, S-Class and Mercedes-Maybach S-Class also contributed significantly to overall volumes. Entry luxury models, however, saw a 20 percent year-on-year decline and accounted for 13 percent of total sales.The company also announced the rollout of ‘MB.CHARGE Public’, a unified public charging ecosystem available to existing Mercedes-Benz BEV customers at no additional cost. The service provides access to over 9,000 DC charging points in India and is integrated through the Mercedes-Benz app.
12 new Mercedes models to launch in 2026
Looking ahead, Mercedes-Benz India plans to introduce 12 new products in 2026, including new models, facelifts and additional BEVs. Besides that, the company has confirmed the start of local production of the Mercedes-Maybach GLS at its Pune facility, making India the first market outside the US to locally manufacture the ultra-luxury SUV.
