Due to sunshine, the day temperature is expected to be between 37 to 39 degrees Celsius. However, due to light cool winds blowing in the morning and evening, the heat will not have much impact. There is no extreme heat at present, but there is a possibility of heat wave after April 15.

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of sporadic to moderate rain with strong winds in the eastern Indian states of West Bengal, Sikkim and Odisha. Whereas in Bihar the weather will be clear on 13th April. However, it may remain cloudy in some districts and there is a possibility of light rain. The weather can change suddenly in many areas. There will be strong sunlight in most areas which will increase the temperature.

It will remain cool in the mountains

From Jammu and Kashmir to other hilly states, the cold will remain like the previous days. There is a possibility of snowfall in many areas of Uttarakhand and Kashmir. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert for these areas. Winds are expected to blow at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour in Himachal Pradesh.

Chance of heavy rain in Northeast India

Like previous days, North-East India will remain drenched with strong winds and rains today too. According to the report of the Meteorological Department, pre-monsoon activities are already active in these states. There is a possibility of strong winds along with heavy rains in many areas of Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh. There may also be sunshine in some areas.

Preparation for heatwave in MP and Chhattisgarh

The weather will remain hot in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh today. As April progresses, heat wave conditions are becoming prevalent in these states. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be continuous sunshine in both the states on 13th. Due to this, the day temperature is likely to reach between 37 degrees to 39 degrees. During this period, humidity may also increase due to light humidity. There is a strong possibility of heat wave in these states from April 14 to April 17.
