Merry Christmas: PM Modi attends prayer meeting at Cathedral Church of the Redemption, Delhi

Merry Christmas: Today (25 December) the Christian community around the world is celebrating its biggest festival ‘Christmas’. People reached the church early in the morning and prayed. Meanwhile, PM Narendra Modi along with a large number of Christian people from Delhi and North India participated in the Christmas morning prayer service at The Cathedral Church of the Redemption in Delhi. The prayer service included prayers, carols, hymns and a special prayer for PM Modi by the Right Reverend Dr. Paul Swarup, Bishop of Delhi.

Wishing a Merry Christmas, PM Narendra Modi wrote in his ex-post, “Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas filled with peace, compassion and hope. May the teachings of Jesus Christ strengthen the harmony in our society.” PM Modi also shared pictures of the prayer meeting at The Cathedral Church of the Redemption in Delhi on social media platform X. Along with this he wrote, “I participated in the Christmas morning prayer service at the Cathedral Church of the Redemption, Delhi. The eternal message of love, peace and compassion was reflected in the prayer meeting. Hope the spirit of Christmas will inspire harmony and reconciliation in our society.”
