Messi created history, completed 900 goals and joined Ronaldo’s ‘elite club’

Football great player Lionel Messi has achieved another historic achievement. He has completed 900 goals in official matches and has become the second male footballer in the world to reach this figure. Earlier this record was in the name of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Messi achieved this feat in the CONCACAF Champions Cup match played between Inter Miami and Nashville. Although the match ended in a 1-1 draw, Inter Miami was eliminated from the tournament due to the away goals rule.

This goal of Messi is another milestone in his illustrious career. He achieved this feat in 1142 matches, whereas Ronaldo had completed 900 goals in 1236 matches. If Ronaldo is leading this list with 965 goals and his target has reached 1000 goals.

If we talk about Messi’s career, he scored the maximum 672 goals in his club career for FC Barcelona. Apart from this, he has scored 32 goals for Paris Saint-Germain and 81 goals for Inter Miami CF so far.

Messi’s performance at the international level has also been excellent, where he has scored 115 goals for Argentina. The year 2012 was the best year of his career, when he scored a total of 91 goals for club and country.

Brazilian great player Pele is at third place in this list with 765 goals, while among the current players Robert Lewandowski is behind with 690 goals.

This achievement of Messi once again proves why he is included among the greatest footballers in the world.
