Mexico: Major accident during emergency landing in Mexico; 7 people have died so far

The incident occurred on Monday when the plane was flying from Acapulco to Toluca Airport, located about 31 miles west of Mexico City. The crash site was in an industrial area about three miles from the airport. Mexico State Civil Protection Coordinator Adrian Hernandez said that there were eight passengers and two crew members on board the plane, although only seven bodies have been recovered after the crash.
The plane tried to land on a football field, but it crashed into the roof of a factory and then caught fire. Ana Muniz, mayor of San Mateo Atenco, said, 130 people nearby were evacuated safely after the accident. Search and rescue operation is going on.
