The Hundred 2026: Mega-drama at the Oval! Breathtaking match between MI London and Spirit ended in a tie

Delhi: Cricket fans got a tremendous thrill in the 12th match of The Hundred Women 2026. In this match played at Kennington Oval, the match between MI London Women and London Spirit Women was a tie. Both the teams scored 151 runs in 100-100 balls and in the end there was no result of the match. Mary Kelly became the player of the match.

Amelia Kerr and Chinelle Henry lead MI to a strong score

Batting first, MI London had a great start. The openers added 30 runs for the first wicket. Haley Mathews scored 18 runs in 11 balls, but after her dismissal the team lost wickets continuously. Alice Davidson-Richards scored 10 runs and captain Holly Armitage scored 23 runs.

At one time the team looked to be in trouble, but Amelia Kerr batted brilliantly and scored unbeaten 49 runs in 32 balls. He hit 7 fours in his innings and held one end.

From the other end, Chinelle Henry scored unbeaten 33 runs in just 12 balls. His stormy innings included 4 fours and 2 sixes. There was a quick partnership between the two batsmen for the last wicket, due to which MI London scored 151 runs for 4 wickets in 100 balls.

Marijan Kapp bowled the best for London Spirit and took 2 wickets. Nadine de Klerk and Grace Harris got 1-1 success.

After the initial shock, Amy Jones and Mary Kelly took over the innings.

London Spirit, which set out to chase the target of 152 runs, had a very poor start. Grace Harris was out on the very first ball without opening the account.

After this, wicketkeeper batsmen Amy Jones and Mary Kelly made a brilliant comeback. Both of them brought the team back into the contest by adding 68 runs for the second wicket. Mary Kelly scored 45 runs in 28 balls, while Amy Jones played a brilliant inning of 49 runs in 36 balls.

After Mary Kelly’s dismissal, Marijan Kapp made the match exciting by scoring 25 runs in 13 balls. However, due to continuous fall of wickets in the last overs, the match was again tied.

London Spirit team was on the verge of victory, but MI London bowlers made a brilliant comeback. The match could have gone either way on the last 2 balls, but London Spirit could only score 151 runs for 5 wickets in 100 balls. In this way the score of both the teams remained equal and the match was declared a tie.

For MI London, Kirsty Gordon and Hayley Matthews took 2 wickets each, while Chinelle Henry got 1 wicket.
