Even if the right-handed batter cannot field, Mumbai Indians may make sure he bats at the top to give them an early impetus.
Will Jacks for Mumbai Indians
Despite joining the squad in time for the game against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Will Jacks hadn’t played against the arch-rivals. But a batting collapse similar to the one suffered against the Super Kings could force the Mumbai Indians to blood in the England all-rounder. The five-time champions could also bring in Jacks as early as in the first over due to off-spin’s effectiveness against SunRisers openers Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma.

While Abhishek Sharma has been flying high despite a slow start, Travis Head hasn’t quite found the second gear he is known for. The Aussie left-hander’s highest score has been 46 thus far and struggled to regain his rhythm on more occasions than one. Should Head find form, the SunRisers will become near unstoppable.
