During his statement, Donald Trump said, “We’re in talks right now, and it would be great if we could get something done, but they have to open it. They have to open the Trump Strait, I mean, the Strait of Hormuz,” before laughing and saying, “Sorry, I’m very sorry. What a big mistake.”
Taking a dig at the media, Trump said, “Fake news will say that he said ‘Straight of Trump’ by mistake. No, no such mistake happens to me. It happens very rarely.”
What did Trump say about Iran?
In his speech, Trump targeted Iran and said that the US military is achieving its goals in the war, even though Tehran is rejecting these claims. He said “We are closer than ever to the rise of a Middle East that will be free from Iranian terrorism and nuclear blackmail.”
Along with this, while referring to the military action, he said, “Under my leadership, America is eliminating the threat posed by this fundamentalist regime, completely destroying Iran’s capabilities through Operation Epic Fury, this has never been seen before. We have the most powerful army in the world, for 47 years Iran has been considered the hegemon of the Middle East, but now it is no longer the hegemon.”

He claimed that at that time there was satisfaction regarding this step within the government itself.
