Bihar News: Amidst the ongoing tension and recent developments in West Asia, the Bihar government has increased its activeness regarding the safety of Indians living there, especially the people of Bihar. On the instructions of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, JDU’s working national president Sanjay Jha met India’s External Affairs Minister S. Talked directly to Jaishankar, got information about the current situation and discussed security measures.

What did the Foreign Minister say

Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar assured him that the Government of India is in constant touch with the governments of the countries concerned. The Indian Embassy there is fully active and is keeping an eye on the situation. If needed, necessary steps will be taken for the safety of Indian citizens. He also said that official talks have been held with the concerned countries even at the personal level so that the safety of Indians can be ensured.

Sanjay Jha has appealed to the people of Bihar and other parts of the country living in West Asia to avoid rumours, stay safe indoors, be cautious and follow the official advisories issued by the Indian Embassy and local administration. He assured that the government will take necessary and immediate action as soon as the situation becomes normal.
