3,461 deaths and lakhs of tons of bombs, an orgy of death from Iran to Lebanon, where does the Middle East war stand after 1 month?
US Israel War Casualties: The conflict against Iran in the Middle East, which started on February 28, has now taken the form of a war, in which thousands of people have died so far and a large number of people are injured. America and Israel are accused of launching an attack on Iran, in response to which Iran launched missile and drone attacks on Israel, American bases and Gulf countries. At the same time, fighting has expanded to a new front in Lebanon.
According to US-based human rights organization HRANA, about 3,461 people have been killed so far since the conflict began. Of these, 1,551 were civilians, including at least 236 children. The organization says that this data has been prepared on the basis of hospitals, local reports, emergency sources and open-source material.
More than 20,000 people injured
On the other hand, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies reported on Friday that at least 1,900 people have died so far in Iran and about 20,000 have been injured. It is unclear whether these figures include the 104 people actually killed in the March 4 US attack on an Iranian warship off the coast of Sri Lanka that the Iranian military said were killed.
Death toll in Lebanon crosses 1200
According to Lebanese officials, 1,238 people have been killed in Israeli strikes since March 2, including at least 124 children. More than 400 Hezbollah fighters have been killed since Lebanon’s Shia armed group Hezbollah launched attacks on a new front against Israel on the same day, according to media reports.
It is unclear whether the total casualties released by authorities include Lebanese and Hezbollah fighters. The Lebanese army also said eight Lebanese soldiers had been killed in the fighting, with most of the deaths occurring in southern Lebanon.

Iraq in the grip of war
According to Iraqi health officials, at least 100 people have died since the conflict began. These include civilians, members of the Iran-linked Shia Popular Mobilization Forces, Kurdish Peshmerga fighters and soldiers. Even after so many deaths, it is difficult to say who is winning or who has the upper hand in this ongoing war in the Middle East. Both sides are claiming their respective victories.
