Milan crisis drags on for Rangnick, as fans angry with Ibrahimovic video
The Rossoneri are unable to plan any transfer strategy, let alone start talks to sign players, because they fired coach Max Allegri, CEO Giorgio Furlani, director of sport Igli Tare and technical director Geoffrey Moncada.
That was almost two weeks ago and there is still no sign of replacements for any of those figures.
Milan still no closer to new structure
Rangnick had seemingly been chosen as a new technical director with enhanced powers, but he is preparing to lead Austria in the 2026 World Cup.
Transfer pundit Matteo Moretto notes that the Austrian Federation has offered to accept all Rangnick’s requests to extend his contract as Austria coach until the 2028 European Championship.
Meanwhile, Milan patron Gerry Cardinale has not yet decided whether or not to even hire Rangnick.

The only figure who kept his place at the club after that mass dismissal was Ibrahimovic, who is a Special Advisor to RedBird.
However, the former striker seems to be doing everything except working on this very urgent matter.
He is preparing to head out to the World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico as a television pundit, released a video of his role in a new advertisement, and today posted clips of his workout routine.

The response from Milan fans in the comments was ferocious, complaining that he ought to be focusing on fixing the mess at San Siro rather than publicising his personal brand.
More banners and flyers appeared around the club headquarters today, demanding that Ibrahimovic also be dismissed.
