Milk thief arrested from Delhi: CCTV video went viral, used to steal milk while sitting in stolen auto
The Anti Narcotics Squad of Outer District of Delhi Police has busted a milk theft gang operating in Uttam Nagar area. Police have arrested two accused in this case, who used to steal milk and curd crates by chasing milk supply vehicles. According to the police, a video had gone viral on social media, in which the incident of theft of milk and curd was visible. After the video surfaced, the police came into action and started searching for the accused.
On April 3, police received information that Mohit alias Patha and Ayush Maan Pandey alias Pandit Shiv Vihar were going to meet one of their friends near the church near Vikas Nagar. Based on the information, the police laid a trap there. After some time a three-wheeler came there. As soon as a young man got down from the car, the police team caught both of them on the spot. Upon searching the vehicle, police found 14 empty milk crates. When the accused were asked for the documents of the vehicle, they could not show them. Investigation revealed that this three-wheeler was stolen from Prem Nagar area.
Used to sell milk in Dabri and Bindapur
According to the police, the accused used to chase milk supply vehicles. When the supplier kept milk crates outside houses or shops. Then, seeing the opportunity, he would pick up the crate. The stolen milk and curd were later sold at milk supply points in Dabri and Bindapur.
An accused came out of jail only in February
The arrested accused Mohit alias Patha is a resident of Ranhola and has more than 38 cases registered against him for theft, snatching and vehicle theft. He came out of jail only in February 2026. The second accused Ayush Maan Pandey alias Pandit is also a resident of Ranhola.
