Minority Congress celebrated Children's Day among Madrasa children
Prayagraj. Under the chairmanship of Minority Congress City President Arshad Ali, Minority Congress officials celebrated the birth anniversary of the country's first Prime Minister Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru among the children of the Madrasa in Kareli-based Madrasa. On this occasion, PCC member and senior Congress leader Fuzail Hashmi distributed fruits and vegetables to the children. Serve sweets and tell the children about Jawaharlal Nehru that Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru (November 14, 1889 – May 27, 1964) was the first Prime Minister of India and was a central figure in Indian politics before and after independence.
Fuzail Hashmi further said that under the tutelage of Mahatma Gandhi, he emerged as the supreme leader of the Indian independence movement and ruled India from its establishment as an independent nation in 1947 until his death in 1964. He is considered the architect of the modern Indian nation-state – a sovereign, socialist, secular, and democratic republic. On this occasion, city president Arshad Ali told that during the freedom struggle, the British had sent Nehru to jail 9 times and he had spent 3259 days in jail.
Arshad further said that due to his origin with the Kashmiri Pandit community, he was also called Pandit Nehru, while Indian children fondly know him as Chacha Nehru. On this occasion, Parvez Siddiqui, Haji Sartaj, Mahfooz Ahmed, Talib Ahmed, Mukhtar Ahmed, Mohd Hasin, Shakeel Ahmed, Zahid Neta, Laiq Ahmed, Ghulam Waris, etc. were present.
