In the midst of the war, Iran has claimed that it launched a missile attack on the American aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln, after which it had to leave the area and change its position. According to the Iranian Military, the Navy targeted the carrier with Ghader Cruise Missiles. After this attack the American fleet had to change its position.

Iranian Navy Chief Shahram Irani said that every activity of the American carrier strike group is being monitored. He warned that as soon as this fleet comes within missile range, more powerful attacks will be launched on it. However, this claim has not been independently verified and there has been no official response from the US.

According to Iran’s army, this action was taken on the 26th day of the war. The Iranian Navy said that Abraham Lincoln was under constant surveillance and was targeted as soon as it came within missile range. Iran has made it clear that it is keeping an eye on America’s every move and will continue to retaliate if necessary. Meanwhile, Pakistan has conveyed America’s ceasefire proposal to Iran, but Tehran has rejected the hints of talks.
