After LSG’s boat sank, Mitchell Marsh’s bat caught fire, scored a century against RCB at a strike rate of more than 200.

IPL 2026: The 50th match of the Indian Premier League 2026 is being played between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Ekana Stadium. RCB captain Rajat Patidar won the toss and decided to bowl first, after which Mitchell Starc scored a brilliant century for Lucknow Super Giants, who came to bat first. He completed his century in just 50 balls. This is his second century in IPL.

Mitchell Marsh and Arshin Kulkarni gave a good start to LSG.

In this match, RCB lost the toss and came to bat first. Mitchell Marsh and Arshin Kulkarni started the innings of Lucknow Super Giants. Both of them gave a good start to the team, but due to rain the match had to be stopped twice. As soon as the match started again, Krunal Pandya gave the first blow to Lucknow by dismissing Arshin Kulkarni. Arshin Kulkarni scored 17 runs on 24 balls. There was a partnership of 95 runs for the first wicket between Mitchell Marsh and Arshin Kulkarni.

Mitchell Marsh scored a brilliant century against RCB

At the other end, Mitchell Marsh stood firm and scored a brilliant century as soon as the match started again. He completed his century in just 51 balls. During this, Marsh hit 9 fours and 8 sixes. He has scored his second century in IPL. However, this century of Marsh has come quite late as Lucknow Super Giants is almost out of the race for the playoffs. Lucknow Super Giants have won only 2 out of 9 matches so far. Now it remains to be seen whether Mitchell Marsh’s century in this match against RCB can lead to victory for Lucknow team or not.
