This weekend promises to be an exciting episode as famous music director Mithun will be seen joining in as a special guest. The contestants gave their best performance in front of both Mithun and the gurus of the show.
Mithun was especially enthralled with contestant Bidisha's songs “Kaun Tujhe” and “Chahoon Main Ya Na”, two iconic songs originally sung by his wife, ace singer Palak Muchhal. To make the evening magical, Mithun surprises everyone by video calling Palak just before Bidisha's performance, so she can experience it live.
Mithun then said, “I was waiting for Bidisha to sing and as soon as she finished her performance, I felt she deserved this moment with Palak. It was just a coincidence that Palak was also about to go on stage for her performance and we were able to talk to her just before that. I think Bidisha has completely earned this moment for herself. When I was listening to her sing, I knew that these things come out naturally and it's not something that can be forced into someone. Her future is bright, and the divine gift she has received has come very naturally to her. He has really earned this recognition and has given excellent interpretations of the songs.
