Mixed Disability Cricket Series: The Indian team has been announced for the Mixed Disability Cricket Series. The Indian team is about to tour England, for which the Differently Abled Cricket Council of India (DCCI) has selected 16 players in the team. A 7-match T-20 series will be played between India and England. The command of the Indian team for this series has been given to a player from Jammu and Kashmir.

Jammu and Kashmir player becomes captain of India

Jammu and Kashmir cricketer Majid AH Magare has been made the captain of the Indian team for the 7-match T20 series against England. Apart from this, Sai Akash Saivamani has been given the responsibility of vice-captain. All these matches will start at 2:30 pm Indian time. The last match of the series will be played at the historic Lord’s Cricket Ground.

DCCI Secretary Ravikant Chauhan said after Majid Magare got the captaincy that it is a proud moment for the entire disabled cricket community of the country apart from Jammu and Kashmir. His captaincy will inspire many young athletes to move forward in sports.

Seventh match: 19 August (historic Lord’s Cricket Ground)
