Patiala/Gwalior. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA from Sanaur (Punjab) Harmeet Singh Pathanmajra has finally been arrested by the police. Patiala Police has arrested MLA Pathan Majra, who has been evading the police for the last several months in a serious rape case, near Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh. Let us tell you that a case of rape was registered against MLA Pathan Majra in the Civil Line police station of Patiala in the month of September. This complaint was made by a woman resident of Zirakpur. The MLA had gone underground since the case was registered and the police was continuously searching for him.

Had dodged the police in Haryana, rumor of fleeing to Australia was spread –
Earlier, when Patiala police had reached a village in Haryana to arrest Pathan Majra, he had escaped from there by dodging the police team. During that time he was also accused of attacking the police party. Later, there were also strong discussions about him leaving the country and fleeing to Australia.

During his absconding, he opened a front against his own government.
Pathan Majra, who remained in hiding for months, was very active on social media even during his absconding. He continued attacking his own (AAP) government by continuously releasing videos from unknown places.

Allegation of vendetta politics: Pathan Majra had seriously accused his own government of filing a false case against him out of revenge.

He claimed that during the floods, he had raised his voice against his government for the rights of the people of his Sanaur assembly constituency, for which he is having to pay the price in this way.
