MLC 2026: Dasun Shanaka created history, took 4 wickets in 4 balls and led Seattle Orcas to a miraculous victory.
A miracle has been seen in Major League Cricket (MLC 2026) which has surprised the cricket world. Seattle Orcas’ Sri Lankan all-rounder Dasun Shanaka has created history by taking four wickets (double hat-trick) in four consecutive balls in the last over against Texas Super Kings (TSK) in Pomona. On the strength of this incredible bowling, Seattle Orcas won the lost match by 9 runs. The thrill of the last over and Shanaka’s historic double hat-trick, Texas Super Kings needed just 10 runs in the last 4 balls to win and aggressive batsmen like Donovan Ferreira were at the crease. TSK’s victory seemed certain, but Shanaka turned the tables with his dangerous bowling. He first dismissed Ferreira, then sent Calvin Savage to the pavilion. Shanaka completed his hat-trick by taking the wicket of Adam Milne on the fifth ball and registered his name in the pages of history by dismissing Amshi de Silva on the last ball. Otnel Bartman’s lethal bowling and low score defense Earlier, the Seattle Orcas team batted very slowly and scored only 121 runs, losing 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Cameron Gannon, who came at number nine, added the maximum 20 runs for the team. Otnel Bartman also bowled lethally for the Orcas, who had to defend such a low score. Bartman dismissed TSK captain Faf du Plessis, Siteja Mukkamala and Wiaan Mulder to pave the way for Shanaka’s historic victory. Seattle Orcas next face MI New York on July 10
