Mumbai BMC Election: MNS-Shiv Sena UBT alliance approved in Maharashtra, Thackeray brothers will announce tomorrow in Mumbai
In Maharashtra, an alliance has been formed between Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT) and Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS). Both the Thackeray brothers will formally announce this on 24th December i.e. tomorrow in Mumbai. Shiv Sena UBT leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut has given this information. He has written that it will be announced at 12 o’clock. After the results of the first round of Maharashtra civic elections are out, now elections are to be held for 29 municipal corporations of the state including Mumbai. Voting for this will be held on January 15. The results will be declared on 16 January. Both the brothers have come together politically after 20 years. BJP and Eknath Shinde led Shiv Sena are keeping a close eye on the political equation that will change with the coming together of Raj and Uddhav Thackeray.

There is a big shock in the first round
The constituent parties of Mahavikas Aghadi have suffered a setback in the recently concluded Municipal Council and Nagar Panchayat elections in Maharashtra. While the performance of Congress has been satisfactory, Shivsana UBT and Sharad Pawar’s party have suffered a setback. BJP has emerged as the number 1 party. The Thackeray Brothers came together on the issue of making Hindi mandatory in Maharashtra. After this the ice between the two brothers melted. After this there was talk of alliance between MNS and Shiv Sena UBT.
