Big step of Modi government in the winter session of Parliament, bill will be presented to change banking laws
New Delhi : Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will introduce the Banking Laws (Amendment) Bill in the winter session of Parliament on Monday, November 25, which aims to amend the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 as well as the Banking Regulation Act, State Bank of India Act and other bills . The Finance Minister will also introduce bills to amend the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970 and the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1980.
According to the Lok Sabha agenda, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav will introduce the Railways (Amendment) Bill to amend the Railways Act, 1989, which will be considered. Jayant Chaudhary, Minister of State in the Ministry of Education along with the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) on the implementation of Skill Acquisition and Knowledge Awareness for Livelihood Promotion (SANKALP) Project related to the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship on Labor, Textiles and Skill Development Will make a statement on the status of implementation of the recommendations contained in the 56th Report of the Standing Committee.

Union Minister Faggan Singh Kulaste and National Commission for Scheduled Tribes Vice-Chairman Anant Nayak will move a proposal to associate a member of the Rajya Sabha with the Committees on Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (2024-25). The agenda read, “This House recommends to the Rajya Sabha that the Rajya Sabha agree with the Committee on the Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes to nominate a member from the Rajya Sabha for the remaining term of the Committee which expires on October 14.” , in place of Krishna Lal Panwar who has resigned from the Rajya Sabha with effect from 2024 and inform this House of the name of the member nominated by the Rajya Sabha.”
BJP MPs Rodmal Nagar and Ganesh Singh will move a motion for the election of one member of the Rajya Sabha to the Committee on Welfare of Other Backward Classes (2024-2025). The list says, “This House recommends to the Rajya Sabha that the Rajya Sabha agree to co-opt one member from among its members with the Other Backward Classes Welfare Committee for the remaining term of the Committee which is 29.08.2024 Will replace Bidha Mastan Rao Yadav, who resigned from the Rajya Sabha from 2015 and inform this House of the name of the member so elected to the committee.”
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will present proposal for election of two members for IIT Council.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will move a proposal for the election of two members to the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Council. “In pursuance of clause (k) of sub-section (2) of section 31 of the Institutes of Technology Act, 1961, the members of this House may, subject to the other provisions of the said Act and the rules made thereunder, as per the direction of the Speaker, elect two of their “Proceed to elect members to serve as members of the Council of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).”

There is a provision to do so, as passed by the Lok Sabha. Will also present a proposal to pass the bill.
Proposal will be presented for Bengaluru elections
BJP state president and Union Minister JP Nadda will present a proposal for elections to the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru. It further states that, “In pursuance of clause (l) of sub-section (1) of section 5 of the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore, Act, 2012, that this House in the manner directed by the Speaker “Proceeds to elect one member from among the members of the House to be the member of NIMHANS, Bangalore.” Let us tell you that the winter session of Parliament will begin from November 25 and subject to exigencies of government business, the session will end on December 20.
