US President Donald Trump has described countries like India and China as ‘hell holes’. He has compared both the countries to hell. He shared a post in which American radio commentator Michael Savage was doing a podcast. Questions were raised on the ‘Birthright Citizenship’ law in the podcast.
It was said in the podcast that people from India and China come to America and have a child, the child becomes an American citizen and then the whole family comes. Trump shared this post on his Truth social account.

There was an uproar in India after this statement of Donald Trump. Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and wrote on Instagram, ‘Narendra Modi ji, your friend Trump has called India a ‘hell hole’. Indians were called gangsters with laptops. Will you protest or just keep whining for the next rally in Bengal?
What did Congress say?
Congress party also strongly condemned this statement. The party wrote on X, ‘This statement is extremely derogatory and anti-India. This has hurt every Indian.
Questions raised on PM Modi’s silence
Congress has demanded that the US President register a strong objection on this matter. Congress further said that PM Modi’s record of speaking in front of Trump was not good. The party alleged that Trump had already said derogatory things about India, but Modi remained silent. Congress called PM Modi a weak Prime Minister and said that the entire country is paying the price for this.
