Modi’s attack on TMC government, election message focused on development
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made strong comments on the Trinamool Congress (TMC) government in West Bengal. He addressed a huge public meeting in Tahirpur of Nadia district through phone. However, due to dense fog, his helicopter could not land at the temporary helipad and he had to return to Kolkata airport.
PM Modi stressed on the importance of Nadia
PM Modi said on social media that he wanted to raise some important issues in person, but the weather prevented him. Emphasizing the importance of Nadiya, he said that this land is associated with Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and here the spirit of service to others is strong, which is seen in the Matua community. He said that it is a matter of pride for him to contribute to the development of Nadia and entire West Bengal.
Prime Minister Modi said that his government is continuously working to empower the people of the state. He said that so far 52 lakh houses have been approved, so that every citizen can be ensured a roof over the head. Apart from this, more than one crore families have been benefited under Jal Jeevan Mission. He also told that this work will be done more rapidly if BJP government is formed in West Bengal. In the health sector, more than 13,000 Ayushman Arogya Kendras and more than 750 PM-BJP Kendras have been set up, which provide medicines at affordable rates.
PM Modi made serious allegations against the TMC government and said that the party is working only for personal interest and commission. He wrote that development projects worth thousands of crores for the state are being disrupted due to the non-cooperative mentality of TMC. He asked that TMC can oppose BJP any number of times, but why is it stopping the development of the state. Referring to the problems of women safety and football lovers in the state, he highlighted the failure of TMC.
Prime Minister targeted TMC
The Prime Minister also targeted TMC on the issue of infiltrators. He said that TMC is putting all its strength in protecting the infiltrators who harm the poor of the state. Modi assured that if BJP government is formed, strict action will be taken against infiltrators. He assured the Matua and Namasudra communities that they will always be served and they will get the right to live with dignity in India.
The Prime Minister clarified that BJP’s priority is the development of the state, welfare of citizens and maintaining law and order, whereas TMC’s politics is based only on selfishness.
