Punjab News: Mohali Police has arrested gangster Gagandeep Singh alias Fauji and his associate Mahesh Sharma. A stolen motorcycle, 2 illegal pistols and 22 live cartridges have been recovered from their possession. Mohali SSP Deepak Pareek gave this information during the press conference.

On October 14, 2024, masked youth committed robbery at pistol point at the shop of Divya Jewelers in Lohgarh, Zirakpur. After this incident, a case was registered against unknown accused. After investigation, gangster Gagandeep and his associate Rahul Vaid were arrested on October 20. Police have also recovered a stolen motorcycle from their possession.

How was the robbery case solved?

With the help of technical assistance and intelligence sources, the police has arrested gangster Gagandeep. Police said Gagandeep has a criminal history and has been involved in several serious crimes. Cases of murder, attempt to murder, dacoity, extortion and illegal weapons are registered against him.

Rahul Vaid was caught while taking joint action

Zirakpur Police and Crime Branch Panchkula have together arrested Rahul Vaid. During the operation, Rahul tried to run his car over the policemen but the police arrested him. Many serious criminal cases are also registered against Rahul.
