Mohammad Nabi created another history by playing with his son, became the first father-son duo to do so

Delhi: Former Afghanistan captain Mohammad Nabi created a special moment in cricket history on January 11 with his son Hasan Aisakhil. Both played matches for the same team in Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). This match was played by Noakhali Express.

Hasan Aisakhil batted brilliantly in this match. While opening, he scored 92 runs in 60 balls. His innings included seven fours and five sixes. Whereas Mohammad Nabi scored 17 runs in 13 balls. There was an important partnership of 53 runs between the two for the fourth wicket.

Noakhali Express batted first and scored 184 runs. In response, Dhaka Capitals team was all out for 143 runs. Nabi also performed well in bowling and took two wickets.

Mohammad Nabi and Hasan Aisakhil became the first father-son duo to play for the same team in BPL history. Before this, both had played together in Afghanistan.

Both were seen together in the press conference after the match. When Hassan was asked whether his father was strict, he said no. He told that they are like a normal father and son and live like friends.

On this the Prophet smiled and said that he is strict only during training. He said that playing with his son is a pleasure for him. He had been waiting for this moment for a long time. Nabi told that he has prepared Hasan for professional cricket.

Nabi further said that a day before the match, both of them had prepared for about 90 minutes. He explained to his son what kind of bowlers he had to face. He challenged him with side arm bowling in practice. Nabi told that Hasan was waiting for this opportunity for the last several days and he performed brilliantly in the debut match.
