Mohammed Shami Bought By SRH for INR 10 Crore
The India’s 2023 ODI World Cup hero Mohammed Shami has joined Sunrisers Hyderabad for a price of INR 10 Crore. He is the first buy for Hyderbad franchise in the IPL 2025 mega auction.
Shami who missed the IPL 2024 IPL due to his injury recovery, has been back to cricket action recently and will be joining upcoming IPL 2025 season.

Shami who played for Gujarat Titans in 2022 and 2023 season, has been instrumental in GT’s win in their inaugural season. He also had a remarkable performance in the 2023 season picking 28 wickets in 17 matches with an average of 18.64 and an economy of 8.03.
Notably, Mohammed Shami picked 17 wickets in the powerplay, setting a league recored for the most wicket in a single season in the powerplay.
SRH’s bowling unit will be strenghtened with the pacer’s addition who can be able to deliver challenging pitches and in high pressure situations makes him a valuable asset for the franchise.
