After the defeat to New Zealand, India’s star pacer Siraj got a big gift, know the whole thing

IND vs NZ: A 3-match ODI series is being played between India and New Zealand. India won the first match of this series by 4 wickets and in the second match New Zealand won by 7 wickets. With this the series is currently tied at 1-1. Now the third ODI match of this series is going to be played in Indore on 18 January.

Siraj looked colorless in Rajkot

India had to face defeat in the second ODI match on Wednesday. Indian cricket team’s star fast bowler Mohammad Siraj looked pale in this match. He could not show any magic with the ball. Siraj bowled 9 overs in this match and during this he did not even get any wicket. Siraj spent 41 runs in his spell.

Mohammad Siraj got a big gift

In the midst of this disappointing performance, Siraj has received a big gift. Actually, Mohammed Siraj has been made the captain of Hyderabad for the remaining two matches of Ranji Trophy 2025-26. Now he is going to be seen captaining in Ranji Trophy. This will be the first time when Siraj will be seen captaining Hyderabad.

Siraj’s career for Hyderabad

Mohammad Siraj plays domestic cricket for Hyderabad. Siraj has taken 309 wickets in 161 innings of 88 matches for Hyderabad in first class cricket. During this period he has taken five wicket hauls 10 times. His best bowling figure was 11 wickets for 136 runs.

Siraj also has 163 wickets in his name in 97 List A matches. He has taken five wicket hauls in List A 10 times. He has also taken 183 wickets in 160 T20 matches while playing for Hyderabad.
