Succession is not involved in the discussion
Bhagwat’s reaction while attending the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s (RSS) centenary function in Chennai is being seen as a clear indication that the RSS has no intention of participating in succession discussions within the BJP. He made this statement on December 9.
He also stressed that caste-based and linguistic divisions must be eradicated if India is to emerge as a “world guru”. Bhagwat said, “We have to take the RSS to 100,000 or more. We have to destroy caste and linguistic divisions in our country and create a united society.”
Communication process with the public: Bhagwat
In Tamil Nadu’s Tiruchirappalli, RSS chief Bhagwat said on Wednesday that there should be a thorough communication process with the public, as the RSS’s journey so far has been based on perceptions rather than facts. He said that keeping this in mind, new programs are being organized across the country in which RSS volunteers will interact with people. We will share accurate and factual information about the team with them.
Speaking at the program “100 Years of Sangh’s Journey – New Horizons”, Bhagwat said, “The Sangh has completed 100 years and the Sangh has been a regular topic of discussion for the past 10-15 years. Whenever there is a discussion, one thing is clear: both our well-wishers and detractors talk based on assumptions and not facts.”
