However, officials have clarified that the tank seen in the viral video is not the main reservoir of the Taj Mahal. This is a wudu (anointment) tank, located between the main mausoleum and the mosque and is used before prayers.

Senior security assistant of Taj Mahal said that the viral video is being investigated and it is being ascertained when the footage was recorded. Currently, this video is entertaining people on the internet, while on the other hand, a debate has also erupted regarding the presence of wildlife and security arrangements in the memorial complex.
