Monsoon Update – Heavy Rainfall Warning in 7 States for 2 Days, Stormy Winds Expected

New Delhi: A day later, we are entering March, with the heat expected to increase significantly. While the heat will be unbearable in some areas, rain will put a brake on the fast-paced pace in others, causing discomfort. No major weather changes are expected in Delhi-NCR in the near future.

In Uttar Pradesh, people are already using electric fans to beat the heat. Snowfall is falling in the hills of North India, causing temperatures to drop significantly. Snowfall may continue in the mountains of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Kashmir. Late-night rains have brought pleasant weather to some states. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an alert for thunderstorms and lightning.

Rain Warning in These States

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, an alert for heavy rain has been issued in various parts of the country. The IMD has issued a warning for heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, and Kerala.

In addition, a rain alert has been issued for West Bengal, Sikkim, and Jammu and Kashmir. Thunderstorms and winds of 25 to 30 kilometers per hour are expected during the rain.

When and Where Will It Rain?

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Kerala, and Mahe on February 28th. Jammu and Kashmir may experience light rain or snowfall on March 3rd and 4th.

Know the Weather in Delhi

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the sky is expected to remain largely clear between February 28th and March 2nd. The cold is expected to be almost non-existent during Holi. The maximum temperature here may remain between 30 and 32 degrees. Northwesterly winds of 15 to 25 kilometers per hour are expected during the day in Delhi-NCR.

Know the Weather in Uttar Pradesh

According to the Meteorological Department, Uttar Pradesh is expected to experience heat not only during the day but also at night. Maximum temperatures in the state are expected to be 3 to 5 degrees above normal. No significant change is expected in the next 24 hours.

A steady increase of 2 to 3 degrees in temperature is expected after 24 hours. A slight breeze is also possible here. Various parts of western Uttar Pradesh may experience sunny skies from the morning.

Himachal Pradesh may experience light snowfall, which could increase the cold. Maximum temperatures in Uttarakhand have increased above normal. Meanwhile, light snowfall is expected in the mountainous regions and partly cloudy or light rain in the plains.
