New Delhi: Rising temperatures have brought heat to most parts of North India. Several areas, including Delhi, Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar, are experiencing intense sunshine. A slight breeze is softening the weather, but the sun’s brightness is still abundant.

Snowfall in the mountains of Himachal Pradesh is still causing temperatures to drop below freezing. Snowfall has also worsened the situation in Uttarakhand and Kashmir. Late-night rain in many parts of South India has brought temperatures down.

Thunderstorm warning in these nine states

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for rain and thunderstorms in various parts of the country for the next seven days. According to the IMD, heavy rain is expected in Kerala, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and Mahe on March 1st. In addition, an alert has been issued for light rain with winds of 20 to 30 kilometers per hour in Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh between March 1 and 4.

The Meteorological Department has predicted strong winds of 20 to 30 kilometers per hour in Assam and Meghalaya, with light rain possible. A new western disturbance is expected to activate in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh from March 4 to 6, with light rain expected.

Not only this, but snowfall is also possible here. A storm warning has been issued for parts of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh.

According to the Meteorological Department, clear weather is expected in Delhi-NCR tomorrow, the first day of March. The IMD has not issued any storm or rain alert. No worsening of the weather is expected on Holi. The minimum temperature in Delhi is expected to be 16 degrees Celsius tomorrow.

Heavy rains are expected in Uttar Pradesh.

The IMD has predicted that, like Delhi, the winter chill has eased in Uttar Pradesh. The sun is shining brightly in both eastern and western Uttar Pradesh. According to the Meteorological Department, temperatures in Uttar Pradesh are expected to rise by 2-4 degrees Celsius tomorrow.
