Moradabad: Police arrested two accused of cow slaughter in the encounter, one a resident of Amroha.

Moradabad. Police arrested two accused who carried out the incident of cow slaughter in Bilari police station area after an encounter. During this time, two accused escaped taking advantage of the darkness. Illegal weapons, cartridges, cow slaughter equipment and a WagonR car have been recovered from the possession of the arrested accused.

Remains were found in the forest, case registered

On the night of 14/15 December, remains of cattle were found in the forest of village Sikarpur. In this matter, a case was registered at Bilari police station under IPC No. 647/2025 under Section 3/5/8 Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act and Section 11 Cruelty to Animals Act.
Action on informer’s information
Under the direction of Senior Superintendent of Police, under the leadership of Superintendent of Police Rural and Area Officer Bilari, on the night of 19/20 December, Bilari police station took action on the information of the informer. After the encounter, Seibu son of Ghulam Madar (resident of Gurer/Sirskheda) and Asif son of Sameem (resident of Kakrali Mafi, Amroha) were arrested.

Police have recovered two illegal pistols (.315 bore), two live cartridges, five spent cartridges, animal slaughtering equipment and a WagonR car from the accused. Other legal action is ongoing.

Confession during interrogation, two accused absconding

During interrogation, the arrested accused admitted to carrying out the incident of cow slaughter in Sikarpur on the night of 14/15 December. Also, the names of the absconding accused have been mentioned as Raza son of Rafedin and Dula alias Naved son of Mushtaqim (both residents of Sirskheda, Mudhapande). The police is raiding in search of them.

Many cases have been registered against the arrested accused Sebu in the past including cow slaughter, Gangster Act, Excise Act and NDPS Act. A case has also been registered against Asif in the same case.

Bilari police station team was involved in this action under the leadership of inspector in-charge Udaypratap Singh, in which sub-inspector, head constable and constable level officers and employees were present.
Police say that teams have been formed to arrest the absconding accused and they will also be arrested soon.
