More than 3% fall in crude oil, new rates of petrol and diesel released, know the latest price of June 23

Petrol Diesel Price: New prices of petrol and diesel have been released across the country for June 23. After increasing the prices four times in a row last month, the government oil companies have not made any change in the fuel prices. At the same time, a decline of more than 3 percent has been recorded in the prices of crude oil in the international market, due to which the pressure on oil companies is expected to be reduced to some extent. In such a situation, it becomes very important for the drivers to know the latest rates of their city.

Crude oil prices have softened in the international market. After the ongoing talks between America and Iran, there is an increased expectation in the market that the supply of oil from Iran may increase in the coming time. Due to this, Brent crude has reached the level of around $ 78 per barrel, while WTI crude was seen trading above $ 74 per barrel. Apart from this, America has given exemption of 60 days to some sales related to Iran’s oil business, due to which positive signals have been seen in the market.

Latest prices of petrol and diesel from Delhi to Mumbai

  • In Delhi, petrol is being sold at Rs 102.12 per liter and diesel at Rs 95.20 per liter.
  • Petrol in Mumbai is Rs 111.21 per liter and diesel is Rs 97.83 per liter.
  • In Kolkata, petrol is available at Rs 113.51 per liter and diesel at Rs 99.82 per liter.
  • In Chennai, petrol is available at Rs 108.01 per liter and diesel at Rs 99.66 per liter.
  • In Hyderabad, petrol is being sold at Rs 115.73 per liter and diesel at Rs 103.82 per liter.
  • In Bengaluru, petrol is Rs 110.89 per liter and diesel is Rs 98.80 per liter.

Let us tell you that during May 2026, government oil companies had increased the prices of petrol and diesel four times within 11 days. On May 15, the price of petrol was increased by Rs 3 per liter and the price of diesel was increased by Rs 3.29 per liter. After this, the prices were increased on May 19 and May 23 also. At the same time, on May 25, petrol became costlier by Rs 2.61 per liter and diesel by Rs 2.71 per liter. After these four increases, the overall prices of petrol and diesel increased by about Rs 7.5 to 8 per liter. Since then till now no new change has been made in the prices.

Losses of companies reduced significantly

According to the latest data of the Petroleum Ministry, the losses of oil companies have been much less than before. On April 1, companies were incurring a loss of Rs 24 per liter on petrol, which has now come down to Rs 3 per litre. At the same time, the loss on diesel from Rs 105 per liter has come down to Rs 27 per liter.
