More than eight crore devotees have taken a dip in Mahakumbh

Mahakumbhnagar. Mahakumbh: So far, more than eight crore devotees have taken a dip of faith on the occasion of Mahakumbh in Tirtharaj Prayagraj, the confluence of the sacred Ganga, dark Yamuna and invisible Saraswati rivers.
Official sources said on Monday that till Sunday evening, more than 8 crore 26 lakh devotees have taken bath in Triveni on the occasion of Mahakumbh. On Sunday, 12 lakh 79 thousand devotees took the holy dip. More than one million devotees are performing Kalpavas on the sands of Sangam. He said that Mahakumbhnagar district administration is making preparations in view of the possibility of arrival of ten crore devotees on the occasion of Mauni Amavasya festival on January 29.
