“The two [Liu and Wu] clearly have a warm and happy relationship; there’s no question of separation,’ Wu’s mother remarked on Tuesday.

She said made a recent trip from Taiwan to Shanghai, China, to visit her grandson, reuniting the family. She spoke of Liu as being filial, considerate, and gentle. She noted that all of her handbags were gifts from her daughter-in-law.

This statement came in response to circulating reports that the couple had divorced and were no longer financially linked, as per Swamp. Neither Liu nor Wu have publicly addressed the rumors about their marriage.

A text, allegedly from Liu’s lawsuit against entities spreading misinformation about her, has been circulating on social media. The authenticity of this document has yet to be confirmed, and Liu’s management has not issued any formal complaint.

Liu and Wu’s romance blossomed on the set of the 2011 hit TV series “Scarlet Heart.” They married in 2015 and celebrated with a lavish wedding in Indonesia in 2016.

Liu continues to be active in the entertainment industry, securing multiple advertising contracts and representing various fashion brands. Meanwhile, Wu has reduced his acting engagements to focus more on family time.

Wu, 54, started his entertainment career in 1988 with the boyband “Little Tigers,” later pursuing a solo acting career known for roles in TV series like “At the Threshold of an Era,” “Treasure Raiders,” and “Scarlet Heart.”

Liu, 37, debuted as an actress in 2005, taking a leading role in the TV drama “The Moon and the Wind.” She has since become known for her performances as Mu Nianci in “The Legend of the Condor Heroes” and Long Kui in “Chinese Paladin 3.”
