If you also want to please your mother, then you can prepare ‘Honey Halwa’ with purity at home instead of adulterated offerings from the market. Let us know the easiest method to make it.

Ingredients required to make honey pudding

It is essential to take care of purity for the enjoyment of Mother. For this you need:

One cup semolina (rava)

Half cup pure desi ghee

Half cup honey (pure and natural)

two cups lukewarm water

Finely chopped dry fruits (almonds, cashews, pistachios)

half teaspoon cardamom powder

A few threads of saffron (optional)

Recipe: Step-by-Step Guide

Roasting Semolina: First of all, heat desi ghee in a pan. Now add semolina to it and fry on low flame until its color becomes light golden brown and a pleasant aroma starts coming from it.

Water Mixture: Slowly add lukewarm water to the roasted semolina. Be careful that there are no lumps, so keep stirring it continuously. At the same time add saffron threads to it.

Use of honey: When the semolina absorbs water and starts thickening, reduce the gas flame to very low. Now add half a cup of honey in place of sugar. Adding honey at the end retains its nutrients and natural flavor.

Dry fruits tadka: Add cardamom powder and chopped nuts to the halwa and mix well. When the halwa starts leaving the sides of the pan and the ghee starts appearing separately, then understand that the bhog is ready.
