Tezzbuzz Desk – Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has surprised everyone by tying the knot with his long-term partner Gauri Spratt. The wedding took place in a very private and simple manner at their Bandra home on July 5 amid heavy rains in Mumbai.

Registration under Special Marriage Act

According to reports, the two first completed the legal formalities and officially registered their marriage under the Special Marriage Act. Aamir Khan had already made it clear that he wants to keep this marriage very private and no grand reception will be organised.

It has also been revealed in the pictures that the wedding process was very simple, where Aamir and Gauri signed the marriage documents sitting on the ground.

The presence of family created a special atmosphere

Close members of both the families were present on this special occasion. In a picture that went viral, bride Gauri Spratt’s son, who is said to be around 5-6 years old, was also seen. Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao’s son Azad Rao Khan also became a part of the ceremony.

Apart from this, Aamir Khan’s mother Zeenat Hussain was present on the occasion sitting on a wheelchair and blessed the newly married couple. Other members of the family, including Nikhat Khan and Farhat Khan, were also seen at the event.

Big family, but not everyone could come in one frame

Due to the large size of Aamir Khan’s family, all the members could not be captured in a single photo. His children Junaid Khan and Ira Khan from his first wife Reena Dutta were also present at the wedding, although Ira Khan was not seen in the viral picture.

Some special guests from the film and political world also attended this intimate wedding. Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray, film director Ashutosh Gowariker and comedian Vir Das also reached Aamir Khan’s house on this occasion and wished the new couple.
