When Suraj Nambiar opened up about being married to a celebrity

In an old interview with ETimes, Suraj opened up about marrying a celebrity and dealing with media attention. He revealed that when he first met actress Mouni Roy in Dubai, she was not surrounded by paparazzi or fans. However, during his early visits to Mumbai, he noticed people constantly asking her for selfies while photographers waited to capture her pictures. Over time, Suraj understood that being married to the Naagin actress also meant living a life under public attention and constantly being in the spotlight with her everywhere they went. “It’s part of the deal, and with time, I am getting used to it,” he stated.

During the same interaction, Suraj shared that he first met the actress at a New Year party in Dubai in 2018. Having lived outside India for 12 years, he did not know Mouni was an actress then.
