River increases the height of Mount Everest

The Himalayas were formed millions of years ago due to the collision of the Indian plate. Till now, the main reason behind increasing its height was the friction of tectonic plates, but according to the research done by the university, it has been said that when the Arun River flows downwards from the Himalayas, it brings a lot of Malwa. This Malwa forms a layer on the upper surface of the earth, due to which the pressure on the lower layer of the earth reduces. Due to this, this thin layer gets uprooted and starts flowing with the river Arun.
