A new revelation has come to light in the case of murder of a domestic help in Mount Kailash, a posh area of South Delhi. According to the police, 50-year-old dermatologist Dr. Manish Gupta is accused of murdering his maid. Investigation has revealed that the accused doctor allegedly suspected that the domestic help was bringing negative energy into the house. For this reason he committed the crime. According to the police, Dr. Manish Gupta allegedly attacked domestic help Meena with a bat and killed her with a sharp object in his apartment in Mount Kailash on Thursday. After receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and took the accused doctor into custody and started questioning. Police are investigating the reason behind the murder and other aspects related to the incident.
During interrogation, accused Dr. Manish Gupta allegedly told that he wanted to remove Meena from his house, but other family members did not listen to him. A senior police officer was quoted as saying that during interrogation, the doctor said that he was upset over the refusal to accept Meena’s removal and felt bad that his wishes were ignored. According to the police, the accused doctor also suspected that Meena was bringing negative energy into the house. She reportedly felt that it was affecting her son’s education.

According to a police officer, there had been arguments in the family earlier also regarding Meena. The doctor reportedly wanted to remove her from household work, but other family members opposed it. He was angry about this thing. According to the police, when Meena went to dry clothes on the terrace of her house on Thursday, the doctor attacked her.
Investigating officers say that Dr. Manish Gupta has confessed to his crime. On the day of the incident, Dr. Tina Gupta, wife of Dr. Manish Gupta, had gone to work at around 10:15 in the morning. At that time the doctor and his son were at home. According to the police, Meena reached the doctor’s house between 10:30 and 10:45 in the morning. She washed her clothes as usual and went to the terrace to dry them. After this an incident happened with him.

According to the police, Dr. Gupta attacked Meena between 11:15 and 11:30 in the morning. It is alleged that first they attacked and seriously injured her, after which the victim fell on the ground. The accused then went down from there and left the weapon allegedly used in the attack near the stairs. After the incident, a person living in the neighboring building saw the woman lying in a pool of blood on the terrace and immediately informed the police control room (PCR). On receiving information, police reached the spot and started investigation. Blood stained weapons have also been recovered from the spot.
There is an atmosphere of mourning in the family of domestic help Meena Halder after her murder in Prakash Mohalla area adjacent to Mount Kailash and East of Kailash in South Delhi. Meena’s family includes her husband, son Robin and daughter-in-law Saptami. Son Robin, who works in a shop in Nehru Place, said that his mother had worked hard for a long time to support the family. He said that when he was young, his mother worked continuously for years to support the household.
According to Robin, Meena never took leave and always reached work on time. He told that his mother used to work in the Gupta family house and always had a respectful attitude towards them. He said that Meena always admired that family and had been working in the same house for many years. Robin raised the question why such an incident happened, because he was not aware of any complaint or dispute between his mother and the family.
