There was intense competition between the two. Moushumi Chatterjee was a huge fan of Vinod Khanna. Vinod left a lasting impact on the industry and also gave tough competition to other actors.

In one of his interviews, Vinod Khanna revealed that he considered Amitabh Bachchan his competitor. The two worked together in not one or two, but ten films. Fans loved watching Vinod Khanna and Amitabh Bachchan together on-screen. Their films were widely accepted by audiences, with hits like Guddi (1971), Kunwara Baap (1974), Hera Pheri (1976), Amar Akbar Anthony (1977), Khoon Pasina (1977), Parvarish (1977), Muqaddar Ka Sikandar (1978), Insaaf (1987), and Reshma (1995).

Vinod Khanna’s chemistry with Zeenat Aman was one of the most successful of the time. Both actors worked together in several films, such as Qurbani (1980), Dault (1982), Bombay 405 Miles (1980), and Hungama (1971). During that period, actresses were eager to work with him. Actress Moushumi Chatterjee once revealed that she was extremely fond of Vinod Khanna. According to her, no one else could match his looks, and he truly embodied the image of a hero.

Vinod Khanna delivered several hits over the course of his career. Sadly, the actor passed away in 2017 at the age of 70.
