There is no doubt that the unexpected release date shift of Babies 2 will cause huge financial overheads for other upcoming films that need to relook at their marketing plans. In a poignant social media post yesterday, Sandeep Raje expressed his sadness at the idea of Mowgli not getting an ideal release despite having a hard-working team at hand. Earlier on Monday, Bandi Saroj Kumar, who plays the antagonist in the film, condemned the Akhanda 2 team for delaying the new release date announcement, and causing financial stress to other films that had locked the date weeks ago.
