The reason is the gift of two new trains to Madhya Pradesh. The demand that people have been raising for a long time is now going to be fulfilled. New train services are starting between Bhopal to Dhanbad and Bhopal to Chopan.
On Monday, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will flag off these trains from Bhopal Railway Station, while Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav will participate in the program virtually. The introduction of Bhopal-Dhanbad new train and Bhopal-Chopan Express will strengthen the connectivity between MP and Jharkhand. Especially, there will be relief to those passengers who were waiting for direct train on this route for a long time.

Bhopal-Dhanbad new train will run regularly from Tuesday. This train will leave from Bhopal Railway Station at 7.30 pm and will reach Dhanbad at 7.20 pm the next day. That means this journey will be completed in a little less than 24 hours.
In return, this train will leave from Dhanbad at 11 pm and will reach Bhopal at 10.35 pm the next day. This new schedule will facilitate passengers to plan their journey better.
The schedule of both the new trains had already been released by the Railways. Booking of tickets has also started. In such a situation, this is a news of great relief for the passengers who want to travel from MP to Jharkhand or from Jharkhand to MP.
Bhopal-Chopan Express
Apart from Bhopal-Dhanbad new train, Bhopal-Chopan Express is also being started. This train will be weekly. It will be operated as train number 11633/11634.
This train will run from Bhopal on Sunday and will leave from Chopan back to Bhopal on Monday. There was a demand for a train on this route for a long time, because direct facilities on this route were limited. Now with the launch of Bhopal-Chopan Express, passengers will get a new option.
Where will there be stoppages in Madhya Pradesh?
Both the new trains running from Bhopal will stop at many major stations in Madhya Pradesh. These include Vidisha, Ganjbasoda, Bina, Sagar, Damoh, Katni, Mudwara and Beohari. Passengers of small towns and districts will also benefit from these stoppages. Earlier, people of these areas had to travel long distances and catch big trains.
