New Delhi. Actress and politician Kangana Ranaut has given a controversial statement regarding Oscar-winning musician AR Rahman. He has described singer AR Rahman as biased and hater. Posting on her Instagram handle, Kangana said that Rahman had refused to meet her or work on the music for her directorial film Emergency as he reportedly considered it a propaganda film.

MP Kangana Ranaut posted and wrote that Dear AR Rahman, I have to face a lot of discrimination and prejudice in the film industry because I support a saffron party. Still, I must say that I have never seen a more prejudiced and hateful person than you. I wanted to tell you the story of my directorial film Emergency. Forget telling the story, you refused to even meet me. I was told that you do not want to be a part of any propaganda film. The actress also said that her film Emergency has been appreciated by both critics and opposition leaders for its balanced approach. He said that Rehman has become blind by his hatred. The interesting thing is that Emergency has been called a masterpiece by all the critics. Even opposition party leaders sent me fan letters praising the film’s balanced and compassionate approach, but you have been blinded by your hatred. I feel sad for you. Kangana Ranaut wrote. Oscar-winning composer Rahman recently said in an interview on BBC Asian Network that work has slowed down for him in the Hindi film industry in the last few years, the reason for which he attributed to the changing environment in the industry in the last eight years.
