Posting on her Instagram handle, Kangana said that Rahman had refused to meet her or work on the music for her directorial film Emergency as he reportedly considered it a propaganda film.

MP Kangana Ranaut posted and wrote that Dear AR Rahman, I have to face a lot of discrimination and prejudice in the film industry because I support a saffron party. The actress also said that her film Emergency has been appreciated by both critics and opposition leaders for its balanced approach. He said that Rehman has become blind by his hatred.
