Ujjain. Indian cricket personality and 1983 World Cup winning captain Kapil Dev reached Ujjain to meet an old friend of his. During this time, a very special style of Kapil Dev was seen. Kapil Dev played cricket with children in a street without any safety protocol and hit strong shots. The video of this fun with children is going viral on social media. The children looked excited to suddenly find the great cricketer among them. Not only this, the people passing by were also surprised to see this simplicity of Kapil Dev.

Didn’t enjoy VIP security
It is said that Kapil Dev had come to meet his old family friends Mohanlal Soni and Sarala Soni at their residence. During this short stay, he did not follow any kind of security protocol or VIP frills and spent his time with utmost ease. A video is going viral on social media in which he is seen playing cricket with a plastic bat with children in the streets of Freeganj.

Took a photo with the kids too
There was no limit to the happiness of the children after seeing the great cricketer suddenly batting in their middle lane. The local people were also amazed to see the simplicity of Kapil Dev. Kapil Dev not only enjoyed cricket with the children but also took photographs with them and spent a lot of time. He also had a courtesy meeting with Ujjain SP Pradeep Sharma. During his conversation, Kapil Dev praised the peace and beauty of Ujjain.

Kapil Dev said that the environment of Ujjain is so pleasant that one feels like settling here. However, these days, due to the huge crowd of devotees in Mahakaleshwar temple and to avoid inconvenience to the people, he did not go to the temple. As the news of Kapil Dev being in Ujjain spread, crowds of fans started reaching his friend’s house but by then he had returned. His simplicity is being discussed on social media.
