MP News: Three women cricket players from Madhya Pradesh were honored by CM Mohan Yadav at CM House for winning the Blind Women’s T20 Cricket World Cup 2025. Also, he announced an incentive amount of Rs 25 lakh each to the players.
Meeting and felicitation ceremony with the Chief Minister
On Saturday, three women players from Madhya Pradesh, Sunita Sarathe, Sushma Patel and Durga Yewale, who were part of the winning Indian team, met CM Dr. Mohan Yadav at the Chief Minister’s residence Samatva Bhawan. During this, the Chief Minister announced to give incentive amount of Rs 25-25 lakh to the players, out of which Rs 10-10 lakh will be in cash and Rs 15-15 lakh will be in the form of fixed deposit.
Coaches also received incentive amount
CM Mohan Yadav also announced an incentive amount of Rs 1 lakh each to the coaches of women players, Sonu Golkar, Omprakash Pal and Deepak Pahde. On this occasion, all the players and coaches were honored by presenting trophies and Angavastram.
Provision of education and coaching for players
CM Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the arrangements for further education and coaching of these three players who have brought glory to the state will also be ensured by the state government. He said that this award is not only to honor his sporting skills but is also an important step towards securing his future.

The Indian women’s blind cricket team registered a historic victory by defeating Nepal in the final of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2025. This team included three talented players from Madhya Pradesh. In the final match played in Colombo, India all out Nepal for 114 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs.
