MP Rahul Gandhi meets Union Minister Nitin Gadkari along with Priyanka Gandhi, creates political uproar

New Delhi. Leader of opposition in Lok Sabha and MP Rahul Gandhi has again created a political uproar. Rahul Gandhi along with his sister and Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi met Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Wednesday. There has been a political uproar after this meeting. The fire in sleeper buses was an important point in this important meeting between the three leaders. Rahul Gandhi discussed with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari about the new strict rules issued by the Central Government regarding body construction.

Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi along with Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra met Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari at the Parliament House on Wednesday. This meeting took place regarding the problems of a delegation of Bus and Truck Body Builders Association of Rajasthan. The main focus of the meeting was the fire in sleeper buses in recent times and the new strict rules issued by the Central Government regarding body construction. Rahul Gandhi put a sharp question to the Union Minister and asked why so many incidents of fire are happening in sleeper buses running across the country. Expressing concern about the safety of the passengers, he put forward the technical problems of the body builders before Gadkari. On the question of Leader of Opposition, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari presented the technical side. Gadkari said that the root of the problems is that the bodies of the buses are being made separately and the chassis are being used old. This imbalance leads to technical faults in buses which often leads to fires. He clarified that to reduce this risk, the Central Government has issued orders to change the rules of body construction.
