MP Sanjay Raut took a dig at PM Modi and called Team India’s strategy hypocrisy.

New Delhi. Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut on Saturday took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the Centre’s Team India strategy amid the West Asia crisis, calling it hypocrisy. Prime Minister Modi chaired a meeting with Chief Ministers to review the preparedness in view of the emerging situation amid the West Asia crisis and said that by working together as Team India, the country will successfully deal with this situation. Raut hit back at the Center and pointed to the Prime Minister’s absence from the all-party meeting chaired by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. The Shiv Sena (UBT) leader also demanded a parliamentary discussion on the situation. Who is part of Team India? Team India is a national idea, but does the Prime Minister think about the country? He doesn’t have any team even in his own party. He was not present in the all-party meeting. At the time of crisis, all parties sat together and the opposition parties assured support to the Centre. However, the Central Government is promoting the hypocrisy of this Team India.

MP Sanjay Raut said that the Team India leader should ensure that the impact of the conflict is discussed in Parliament and he answers questions, but this did not happen. Reiterating the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA)’s demand to appoint the Leader of Opposition in the Maharashtra Assembly, Raut asked the grand alliance government to form Team Maharashtra and work in coordination with the opposition to deal with the impact of the West Asia conflict on the state, he said. He said that a real Team Maharashtra should be formed, which also includes the main opposition party. So that the current crises facing the state can be collectively faced and resolved. For this purpose the Leader of the Opposition should be formally selected. A process that should be initiated and overseen by the Chief Minister. This came as PM Modi chaired a meeting of chief ministers of states and emphasized that the government’s priorities are to maintain economic and trade stability, ensure energy security, protect the interests of citizens and strengthen industry and supply chains. Meanwhile, Sanjay Raut also alleged that apart from Shiv Sena MLA Deepak Kesarkar and NCP leader Rupali Chakankar, 40 other MLAs were also linked to sexual harassment accused Ashok Kharat.
