Mumbai Well-known actor and MP Shatrughan Sinha on Wednesday targeted those who called the film Dhurandhar as propaganda and said that a film is a film. The film Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, was released in theaters on December 5 last year and became the highest-grossing film of 2025. The film has since achieved cult status and rewritten box office history. The film Pushpa-2 has become the highest grossing Hindi film of all time, leaving behind The Rule.

MP Shatrughan Sinha, while sharing his views on X, wrote, Wow, just watched the most talked about film Dhurandhar, a wonderful masterpiece. This is a great film, interesting and entertaining, made with honesty. He also praised the film’s technical detail and production design, noting that the sets built in Bangkok, Thailand to depict Pakistan were very realistic. Praising the editing and cinematography, he said that the film is great to watch and praised the very talented cast and crew. Sinha especially praised Ranveer Singh and described him as outstanding. Also praised the performance of Sanjay Dutt and Akshay Khanna. He praised Akshay Khanna’s extraordinary role and his long stay on screen. The veteran actor also praised Rakesh Bedi for his brilliant and amazing role and praised Saumya Tandon’s cameo. Calling Dhar a role model in cinema, Sinha gave credit for the film’s impact to the filmmaker’s direction. He also praised the music and choreography and described tracks like Shararat and Ishq Jalakar – Caravan as euphoric and foot tapping.
